Whether they infiltrated the stocks before their delivery or after remains to be seen. However, these Mushroom Pokemon are a threat due to their poisonous spores—and the TOXIC CHAINS they sport.[break][break]

Should their spores land on anything organic, immediately fungi attempt to sprout...[break][break]

Quickly sort the AMOONGUSS AND FOONGUS from the pokeballs and do away with them before they wreak further havoc.

The task at hand is kind of ... funny, but also not. It's really boring just to see pokéballs with no Ultra Ball or anything else in-between, but well. A task is a task, and right now, Fenelle refuses to think back on what dee actually needs to be doing.

So, Morgrem is next to dem (nickname ...) and helps out. They have to be careful, or these Toxic Chained Pokémon would actually try to grow fungi on them. Which is ... actually, fascinating to think about ... Dee looks over at , waving to get their attention. I wonder if we can seperate the spores, keep 'em for later. Or do they die and not work anymore if you do that?

Dee doesn't hear the scream of an unfortunate Rocket that's been infected behind dem.

A grass/poison type, huh? Sailor watched the Amoonguss and Foongus with a sigh. No chance they'd be allowed to take one with them...[break][break]
An ideal solution to this predicament would be to have a Pokémon that resisted those types or could use a move to make sure the stowaways were unable to react and shoot out their spores.[break][break]
Sailor had an Obstagoon and a Galarian Weezing to use.[break][break]
They approached a crate that should have had counterfeit Luxury Balls inside but it was easy to spot the hidden 'mons -- they should have picked a crate of regular balls. Sailor smirked, "Obstagoon, use Scary Face so they can't escape and Weezing..." Sai was sidetracked for a moment by their sibling. "Hm, do you want to try collecting some? Or maybe a bit of the Toxic Chain?" They signed back before they grabbed a Foongus and holding it out for their sibling to see. The pink-purple chain wriggled when the Pokémon moved.[break][break]
Obstagoon used Scary Face which caused all the 'mons to freeze up and then when they started wriggling again, it was a lot slower, lethargic even. "They seem weak." Sai tossed the Pokémon onto a pile that had been extracted from crates already. [break][break]
No doubt Rocket would find a use for them, regardless.

Cillian's called to the Sootopolis docks by a series of alarmed reports; he understands why as soon as he draws close, the nausea beginning to take root in the pit of his stomach. This time, he'd not be so reckless as to eat the MOCHI. It felt different to the toxins of the Ultra Beasts with which he was accustomed to experimenting, made him purely sick without the addition of aggression or euphoria.[break][break]

Several Rockets swarm the area, looking like a colony of disturbed ants.[break][break]

Cillian's sharp whistle cuts through the din with the intent of drawing attention. Over the comms, he commands. "Stand clear!"[break][break]

The reason becomes evident when SHADOW LUGIA bursts from the belly of the bay, ICY WINDS swirling over the docks. Less destructive than a hurricane or shadowed storm, they slow and harm the lumbering shrooms and provide Rocket some much-needed openings.

"Oh fucking great!", Andrew moaned, as he spotted the Amoongus among the Pokeball shipment.

As a native Unovan, Andrew knew all too well that the Foongus line's patterns resembled Pokeballs. It was similar to how Voltorb resembled a Pokeball. A Shiny Amoongus, from the top down, resembled the coveted Master Ball.

In any case, Andrew sent out his Metagross to deal with them. Using Psychic, the automaton attempted to pull them from the shipments, before blasting them into a pile. The 'impact' of the Psychic throw aimed to knock them out, before they could attempt to eject their spores.

He hadn't meant to come across as a brown-noser, but Jason had to admit that he was probably a little too eager to pitch in when he'd heard that a Pokeball shipment had been compromised, [break][break]

Jason's eyes scanned the darkness of the shipping container, trying to assess which crate to crack open next. He tapped the crowbar in his hand gently against the side of his leg as he thought it over; maybe the Great ball cargo on the left? Or the Ultra ball shipment in the back? [break][break]

The decision was made for him when the Deino snuffing about a different box nearby cried enthusiastically. Jason grinned; the little dragon couldn't see for shit, but she had a hell of a nose. As he approached, he gave her a gentle tap on the head to get her attention as he slotted the edge of the crowbar beneath the lip of the crate's top, [break][break]

“Alright, on my signal,” he cautioned, ready to bust open the box that no doubt was probably crawling with mushroom Pokemon. [break][break]

His imperious gaze sweeping the warehouse workers had their supervisor hovering anxiously at his elbow. While not strictly necessary, Rafael liked to personally visit his operations to make sure his teams knew that their work was important and, more importantly, that they were watched. While he expected some skimming of artifacts and pokemon here and there by his underlings, it was key for them to know that he would not tolerate behavior that violated the standards of House Artega.[break][break]

Nearly at the end of his inspection, one of the workers stumbled back with a strangled cry as a box of great balls spilled across the ground. The man scraped at his face while fungus sprouted, screaming as he writhed on the ground. Within the box, Rafael could see an Amoongus laden with spores and a toxic chain.[break][break]

"See that it doesn't spread to the rest of the shipment. Burn it if you have to," Rafael ordered before turning and walking away with Noble hissing sweetly in his ear.
